To KIP (whose email I don;t have a copy of): Took a look at the TASC code earlier today; er, the detection code was commented out with a strange comment about setting up some variable. I hacked the code around so that this variable got initialised properly (?), and have built a new version KIPCHESS.ZIP which is now sitting on the Oxford Softworks web site waiting for you to download and test. I can't test it out, because our TASC board is dead. All I know is that the way the detection code has been done doesn't crash the entire system if there is no TASC board connected. I guess I could wriggle around with 'detects all known boards' means 'detects all boards known to it' or whatever, but ..... :) If this version doesn't work for you, then I guess TASC support is out the window, sorry. Chris
