I have no idea. It must be the way the database is opened. Any Rebel database is always opened with the "rb+" attribute. Perhaps your cdrom driver does not allow the "+" which allows writing. Any programmers here with more knowledge? For the moment I would advice you to copy the database to your hard disk. Perhaps it's also needed to remove the 'read only' attribute. Example: ATTRIB -R *.* I haven't heard of this problem before. Any data from cdrom can be loaded within Rebel9. Whenever Rebel9 notices a cdrom file is loaded the program automatically set all 'write commands' to the file OFF in the pulldown menus to avoid you will write to the cdrom. But loading a file should be no problem. - Ed Schroder - >My setup: >P6-200, 64 MB RAM, Phoenix 4.06 BIOS, Micronics W6-LI mainboard, Matrox >Millennium BIOS 2.3. >Any suggestions?
