Hi Rob,
After 3. Bd3 there are two moves in book Nc6 and Bg4
but each with only one game record. So therefore with Deep being set at
optimize book a minimum number of two is required for it to play one.
Once it has no move with minimum games two, it is likely that
3......e3 came as a result of analysis.
