Refering to Crafty: My favourite version is still 16.6. I have tested several
Crafties from 14.12 up to 17.04. From 14 tactical test positions, 14.12 found 10
solutions within 6 min on a P2/333, 17.04 13, but 16.6 was best with 14. But
this were all ChessBase "native" engine versions, which AFAIK are differently
compiled and modified for the CB GUI's. I'll wait until 18.x for the next test.

On a P2/333 MHz, with 32 MB hash, Crafty 16.6 needed only 2:23 for 17...Qxf3.
Little Goliath 2000a, an excellent tactician too, found it after 2:03.

Btw., did you notice 22...Rg2 and 22...Be4+ in the same game? Of course this is
not intended to scratch at the monument.
