I think that Deep Junior plays closed positions well enough to draw and if the evaluation will encourage open positions it may go for open positions that are not good and lose. I think that people underestimate the ability of top players in tactics. It is better to play against them the best moves without consideration of open or closed positions. Against weak players it may be a good idea to play for open positions but I do not think that it is good idea to do it against 2700 players. Uri
