I know previous versions of Junior.
It does know the 50 move rule.

I also looked at games of Junior6a and it allowed Fritz to "win" against it
because it understood that the win is too late and that it can claim a draw by
the 50 move rule.

I do not believe that Deep Junior(8 processors) does not know the 50 move rule
when previous version know it.
