Topalov said as much. When asked what he thought of the tremendous
investigations of previous generations of great playerson certain chess truths
(absolute and relative values of material, analysis of certain structures,
etc...), he responded he thought they were fascinating, but nowadays it was
sufficient to play correctly and wait for the opponent to err.

Still, I didn't understand the relevance of the statement with regard to Deep
Junior's play. What thread were you responding to?
