At http://www.chessbase.com/dortmund2000_intro.html you can find reports by Frederic Friedel on the Dortmund Tournament. Some of the speculations over what's been happening there, for example in the Kramnik - DJ game, will have been clarified after reading the stuff there. Just a whiff of what's there (Kramnik explaining his setup for the DJ game): "... I didn't get any advantage out of the opening, maybe my position was even slightly worse, but I was happy with it, because it is exactly the position you need to get against the computer. The objective evaluation doesn't really matter so much. I expected the computer to go wrong at some point and it did so. 13...g6 and 15...Nxd2 were very bad..." Lots of interesting stuff for me; you may find it to your taste too. *** Djordje
