First of all, there is no such thing as a Xeon/800.
Second, if there were, it would have either 1 or 2MB L2 cache, not 256k.
Third, a PIII/800 is a Coppermine, so it already has 256k of on-die ("full
speed") L2 cache.
Fourth, RDRAM is slow. Do you think Ed's numbers are low and therefore he's
using slow memory?
