The problem is that they cannot predict the opening of the machine when they can predict better the opening of opponent humans. It is not so simple to get advantage out of book against the machine. Kasparov also tried to get out of book so I guess that they know that the machine's book is not the weakest part of the machine. I think that the weakest point of programs is playing against king attacks and the only game that Junior lost was because of a king attack. Uri
