I have a PIII 450 with 96 megs of ram. I want to boost that ram by 128M, so that I would have 192 ( I only have 2 ram slots ). The 64M DIMM that I have is PC100 ram. ( I also have a 32M DIMM ) Would it cause any problems to put a stick of 128M PC133 ram in there? I have it in now, and it sees it as I have 192, but I notice some performance loss. ( I think ). Or it is just my program is on a losing streak. Should there really be any problems that I should know about. I have incredible normal computer usage performance, as you would expect going up 100M ram. But I find Gandalf, Crafty, and even Hiarcs seem to run a bit slow...
