I think Junior deserved the title of THE shooting star.

If you want to know more about Shredder concerning
improvements:
The Shredder Paris-Version plays much stronger
than the Jakarta-Version, nevertheless I didn't win
this time :-(
In my opinion there are a couple of programs around who
are able to win such a tournament. You need a strong
program but also a bit of luck to be at the very top.

I think that the level of chess is increasing continiously
from year to year. Some years ago you could play some weak
moves and were still able to win the game.
Today the first bad move loses the game. It is also very difficult
for me to find the mistakes in Shredder's lost games.
I am still not sure where it went wrong in the games against
Junior and Chess Guru.
If somebody can help me plese do so.

Stefan
