Hi,
my question today is: How to control the time of computer's thinking (from the
programmers point of view). Especially interesting is this problem: You have
alloted fixed time for the whole game (say, 15 mins). How to decide how many
time we will "give" to computer for 1 move? Possible answer is to overestimate
the lenght of the game (e.g. it will last 100 moves - then we give 15/100 mins
for 1 move - we suppose no pondering), but sometimes it's not so.
(Do you remember any marathon game? :).
Thank you in advance for your ideas and comments.
Jan
PS: And enjoy summer...
