Your data certainly proves that. but I supported the author (hyatt) because I believe the author knows more about his program than anyone else. afterall he has been "messing" with it for more that "ten" yrs. but again we all can be wrong. if you start a defferant set of games, things can be differant. chess is a strange game. thanks for an interesting test. pavel. ps, i was wondering if you have the time and the interest to perform a similar test, but this time none of the program gets to use their opening book. with ponder=on and ponder=off.
