Well it's no secret Crafty is one of my favouite programs. In short in sharp: I
expect Crafty to perform weaker with ponder=off. But if you look at the results
in detail the increase in strength with ponder=off is possibly randomnly.

Maybe, I have never read something about this. My motivation to do this test
was: there have been a lot of discussion about ponder on/ponder off. But there
aren't very much data. IIRC Ed Schroeder performed another ponder_on/ponder_off
test in the last year. You will find it somewhere in the archives. Unfortunately
his results was different to mine. I just wanted to provide some more.

And (sorry for repeating) the results are _nearly identical_.
This was a surprise for me in fact.
