I assure you I have plenty of that. :-)
And I always boot DOS in safe mode to get 60 MB hash.
It is not uncommon for any "speed identifier" program to be a little off
the mark (less than 5% in my case).
However, your suggestions may apply to the original poster who had his
P5-120 reported as an 82 MHz machine.
