$100,000 won't even begin to cover Hsu's costs. Make it several million
dollars, and I think you will see action. But who's going to sponsor it? Are
either Hsu or Amir stupid enough to bet millions of dollars on a hunch?

The chip is pretty much developed already. But the major costs come from
elsewhere. The $100K won't even cover the documentation costs.

What?!

That's just about the nuttiest thing I have ever heard.

I think you are seriously underestimating the development costs. And just
because it works does not mean there will be a market.

If they formed such a bet, I would conclude that both parties were idiots.
