If you want to put all 3- 4- and 5-men on your harddisk you need about 5,6 GB .

I wouldn't advice you to try to construct them . I think you will need at least
512 MB RAM . Downloading them is a better idea if you don't have to pay too much
for your online time .

If you want to use them for crafty you can save much space btw as you don't need
all subpromotions and can only download the 5 piece tables you are interested in
most . Most other programs can't deal with missing tablebases well yet .

In fact I personally think all 4 men tablebases  + KRPKR including subpromotions
and maybe KQPKQ is enough . The others eat much diskspace without much gain .
