I guess that after 9.Bg5 Qb6 10.Na4 Qc7 11.Bh6 Bxh6 12.Qxh6 Qa5+ 13.Nc3 Qb4 with
the idea Qf8
the position of white is not better than after 9.Bh6 Bxh6 10.Qxh6 Qe7

14.h4 is impossible after 13...Qb4 so it may be only worse.
