The Lock analysis feature makes the current lines in the analysis window lock (not change anymore), while analysis continues under the hood. The clip analysis copies the analysis of that moment to your windows clipboard, so you can cut and paste it. Clip it, open a wordprocessor and hit ctrl-v, I would say. BTW I found out if you reduce the number of analysis lines to one, the clip function won't work properly. It won't display that line, only "analysis by Fritz 6:" or so, and nothing more. Maybe it's my setup, but Fritz 5 didn't have that problem on my PC. Jeroen ;-}
