You need to use 'datacomp' to compress them (this is in the tbgen stuff from
Eugene).  Blocksize is 8192 for reference.  If you don't get this right, nobody
will be able to read the files as eugene's source assumes 8192 unless you
change it.

To do 5 man files, you need RAM.  Lots of it.  You can't do 6 man files unless
you have a 64 bit machine like an alpha.
