Interesting since DB1 was not assembled until late 1995.  Why not ask Hsu or
Campbell, rather than speculating???  Or do facts cloud the issue too much???

I got beat by them at least three times.  So did everybody else except
for a couple of games.  In the 70's nobody could beat chess 4.x and then
Belle.  In the early 80's nobody could beat Cray Blitz.  Then along came
Deep Thought and the competition for first place ended.  Whether you like
it or not..

Remember Forrest Gump?  "Stupid is as stupid does"?  I had zero input to
the Fredkin committee.  I had nothing to do with the prize.  I had no contact
with anybody dealing with the prize.  I had no interest in seeing that they did
or did not get the fredkin prize.

Your remark is simply stupid.
