Thanks for the feedback. I found datacomp.exe, but not a .bat file to compress many files at once. I assume the "best" route is simply downloading the compressed files, not generating them. More importantly, I was hoping for a subset list of 5 & 6 men tablebases that are the most "useful" since I don't have disk space for all of the 5...or do people generally use all of a set--I assume this is possible because not all of the 6 men are available. Thanks again.
