I don't think there is a clear second at any time controls. At short time limits
G/5 I think Yace and LG2000 are clearly better ,at least on my computer with
ponder =off.

For longer time controls, I'm not even sure Crafty is clearly first..Yace though
is probably not as strong there..

But since this thread is asked about the difference between Yace and LG2000, i
suppose both are faster searchers and similar in some ways..I've being trying
out a few test positions (involving Positional stuff eg Castling into a pawn
storm) and often LG2000 agrees with Yace .

Crafty plays a lot different from Yace and LG2000 though..
