And if they did manage it, would their moves be any good? Probably not, because they'd quickly get into a position that wasn't the kind of position most of them play. One GM in a room is unlikely to beat Kasparov in a match. That's because Kasparov is the best human player there is. A bunch of GM's in a room would be much worse.
