Jeroen: You are absolutely mistaken: that's was not the problem because the pistols could shoot only harmless salvoes. Besides it could be thought they were needed, just in case. Besides could be a good point to get support from the Rifle asociation. No sir: the fact that finally put off Heston from the list of candidates was his insistence in using the same cloths as in the Ten Comnandments. It is truth he was prepared to use that cloth with a helmet for safety reasons, but anyway the idea was rejected. Fernando
