I have taken one example, here is the output. r1bq1rk1/3nbppp/p2pp3/6PQ/1p1BP2P/2NB4/PPP2P2/2KR3R w - - bm d4g7; Level is PLY9 Hash table set to 4 Mb Rebel 9.0 1:10 (nodes 4,897,611) R8 (module) 1:15 (nodes 5,565,251) R8 (real) 1:16 (nodes 5,566,305) The only difference between Rebel8 as module (R8M) within Rebel9 and the real thing (R8) is that R8M also make use of the doubling in maximum ply depth from 30 to 60 plies which could be a clue. But as you can see from the above example there is almost no difference at all in the total nodes searched. Perhaps you should post your examples? - Ed Schroder -
