Bruce is probably both the nicest and most humble posters on CCC.

His ability is well known, and his engine among the strongest. I have a theory
that if he had a super-strong opening book, it would win some tournaments. His
explanation of Alpha-Beta {coins in bags} is the best I have ever seen. I think
he would make a great college instructor.

At any rate, I think he has as much a right to voice an opinion as anyone.

In a sense, it looks like a "me too" response, which sometimes gets on a
person's nerves. But in this case, I think it interesting to gather the opinion
from one of the foremost authorities on the subject itself, who has also served
more than one term in the role of moderator. Hence, he is 'ideally suited' to
answer.
