Subject: Censoring Rolf on CCC

Author: Reno de Caro

Date: 09:57:11 11/17/97

While I can't be certain what the real reasons have been for the
"founders" of CCC to expel Rolf Tueschen from their "playing arena," I
do know what are NOT reasons for doing so:

1. INSULTING AND ATTACKING OTHER MEMBERS OF THE GROUP:
This clearly could not have been a reason since AT LEAST one of the
founders of CCC, Mr. Whittington, has been as guilty of that on RGCC as
anyone. Mr. Whittington left the group after neither he nor his
"defenders" were able to put a good face on his personal attacks on
other members of the group anylonger.

2. USING OBSCENE AND VULGAR LANGUAGE:
Again, founder Mr. Whittington, before leaving RGCC (to the sorrow of no
one), set new standards in that field never reached by Rolf Tueschen or
anyone else.

3. SATURATING THE GROUP WITH OFF-TOPIC POSTS:
Guess what? Mr. Whittington shared his sagacious insights on everything
from history to politics with the newsgroup, and other founders have
been guilty here as well, though admittedly to a lesser degree. Of
course, Mr. Whittington did clarify that off-topic posts are permissible
for him and those he designated the "elite," but not for the rest of the
"bores" on the newsgroup.

4. SPREADING LIES:
Here we have to determine what exactly it was that the founders have
referred to as Rolf Tueschen's lies. The only possible examples I have
seen could be classified as "opinions" by Rolf Tueschen that the
founders obviously did not share, conclusions that they themselves did
not reach, and insinuations that they found offensive. All of this, of
course, the "founders" too have been guilty of at different times in the
minds of others who disagreed with them.

My conclusion is that of all the hypocritical reasons offered for
removing Rolf Tueschen from CCC, Mr. Whittington's throwing stones is
hypocrisy par excellence. Interestingly enough, it was the so-called
"founders of CCC" who either remained mute when Mr. Whittington went on
his rampages at RGCC or went the extra mile by trying to defend him
(Bruce, Enrique, etc.).

If you feel I am being unfair, please show me one post by Rolf Tueschen
on CCC that is more offensive than what Mr. Whittington has posted on
RGCC at different times when some of you defended him.
Greetings, Reno
