I beat Hiarcs 6 for the Mac, the first game I played it. And I'm only a
1650 rated player (last time I checked). Of course, I only gave it 10
seconds per move, and used the sneaky italian opening posted by the
fellow who beat Rebel 9 in 16 moves.;-)

It's pretty strong for a slow-searcher. But, whoa, what a funky
interface. It won't even read game files it saves unless they have the
.hsv extension. On the whole, pretty un-maclike.

If they want to hire me to write the interface for v7.0, I'm available.

ps, when you play as a commercial program on a server, do you identify
that you are a computer?
