In 1992 and 1995 they were held in Europe and were too expensive. I hardly ever missed an ACM event which were held in the USA. And crafty participated in two WMCCC events when they would allow 'surrogate operators'. When WCCCs alternated I didn't mind going to one here, one in europe, every three years. But with everything in Europe now, I don't give it much thought any more, unfortunately.
