Thanks for this input, but unfortunately as you mention, it comes as no great surprise. My problem must be something to do with my PC and not Fritz, so I won't continue to waste anyone's time on it. Thanks again however (to all those who gave feedback). I'll have Internet access from my home machine (where I use Fritz) this weekend. I'll aim to post a few "clipped analysis" results just to allow people to see exactly what I'm seeing. The results are still inconsistent even after a reboot. I don't expect people to follow it up anymore as there's little or no point. If I ever find out what the subtle cause is, I'll post it here.
