In fact, I believe Junior does not do as well at these rather short time
controls as it does on longer ones.
At 40/120 on your machines, it will probably be a monster (let alone the 1+ GHz
beasts that start floating around).

From my tournaments:
Junior 6a just lost 1 game to Fritz 6a, ending a 30-game streak without a loss
(40/120, two PIII-550). Junior 6's overall result is 4 losses in 40 games (6a: 1
loss in 31 games).
This is far from what any other program ever achieved at my hands.
