About a year ago I criticized SSDF (regarding the pro-Chessbase
bias in their testing choices), and it seems some of their
members can't still get over it. Of course, that doesn't mean
what I wrote wasn't actually a nonsense. Although there wasn't
much of a refutation of any sort from the offended SSDF
"princesses," just some little girlish giggly whispers among
themselves.

While those grudges may account for their snide personal tone,
it is also perfectly predictable that the SSDF folks will wish to
see the importance of the mechanical-minded rating calculation magnified.
Any other form of strength estimates, especially those claimed to be more
efficient than theirs is a natural "enemy" in such mindset.

So my post had accidentally struck the double chord in those quarters.
It's hard to please everyone all the time.
