> Why do you think it's "nonsense"? About a year ago I criticized SSDF (regarding the pro-Chessbase bias in their testing choices), and it seems some of their members can't still get over it. Of course, that doesn't mean what I wrote wasn't actually a nonsense. Although there wasn't much of a refutation of any sort from the offended SSDF "princesses," just some little girlish giggly whispers among themselves. While those grudges may account for their snide personal tone, it is also perfectly predictable that the SSDF folks will wish to see the importance of the mechanical-minded rating calculation magnified. Any other form of strength estimates, especially those claimed to be more efficient than theirs is a natural "enemy" in such mindset. So my post had accidentally struck the double chord in those quarters. It's hard to please everyone all the time.
