I have used the edit command in Crafty to set up a position for testing my
Castleing code. The edit command does not setup castleing status or en-passant
status according to the doc, but the first 2 ply indicate that castleing is
taking place. My results differ at ply 3 where I get...
My output...

15,156 minus 15,206 is 50 moves difference.
Can anyone prove which number is correct?
