I know that genius3 won nikolic in the same tournament that it won kasparov. Only anand could stop it. I do not know about the games against Vaisser. I did not buy later version of Genius3 because I did not hear about significant improvements. >But it does not really matter. > >>Genius3(p90) won kasparov 1.5:.5 in game/25(kasparov did not know that he plays >>against a new version and thought that he was playing against Genius2) >> > >Genius 3 was not released. It happened in fact at the intel PCA in London >*before* G3 was released (it was named in my local chess magazine Genius 2.9!) Once well known, genius 3 became a rather easy target for GMs patially >because of its conservative style. losing 1.5:.5 against kasparov with p120 is not easy. kasparov was afraid of losing in the first game because Genius3 had a better position in the first game inspite of the fact that kasparov could prepare for the match. I think that genius3 lost the game because of some tactical bug that does not happen often to it(I analyzed the game with Genius3 and I remember that in this game the evaluation of Genius proved that it could not see some tactics that should be simple for computers but unfortunately I do not remember the game and do not have it near me). I also remember that I read that Genius3 got a good result against humans including a win against nunn. Uri
