The WinBoard version play only with ponder = on ! I have the DOS version from the last year. I think this Diep version play with 2450 ELO, ~ 100 ELO weaker then the latest Crafty versions (is my opinion but I have not enough games because I have not more interest on DOS programs). For one year the price is 129,-- DM for the DOS version. I am registratet user but I have not a WinBoard version ! The program is good, interesting positional chess but the problem is the endgame and opening. When Vincent here make changes or try it to make Diep better is Diep a very strong program. I think Vincent is a very talented programmer and I think also Diep play from version to version better :-) Regards Frank
