It is more commonly called MVV/LVA (Most Valuable Victim/Least Valuable
Attacker).  So the ordering of moves is like so:

PxQ NxQ BxQ RxQ QxQ KxQ PxR NxR BxR RxR QxR KxR Px(B or N) Nx(B or N) ....

On thing you might try is ordering KxQ in front of PxQ (same for captures of
other pieces), based on the logic that the King can't be captured.

I think MVV/LVA is a good starting point for move ordering, it works
surprisingly well.
