It looked like a complaint to me and a reasonable one at that, so the term
"complaint" wasn't meant in a derogatory way.

So a computer program can win due to "lack of awareness", but the opposite is
wrong? Sorry, but that is a ludicrous statement. Human players make conscious
decision to achieve an advantage all the time. Taking advantage of weaknesses is
a part of the game. Grandmasters use the same tactics when confronted with
computer players, except they sometimes, but not always, go for the kill. Should
that be forbidden as well, because it's not nice to exploit a weakness
consciously?

I wouldn't feel especially good about a win like that, but there's essentially
nothing wrong with that approach as long as computer programs do the same. The
distortion of rating point goes both ways. If you don't want to loose on time
use increment, or is the timecontrol you currently use due to the fact that you
want to win on time as well?
