I think we are having a problem with semantics, I do not think it is unsportmanlike to win a game of chess on time, that is simply part of the rules of blitz chess. I don't even neccesarily have a problem with winning on time in lost positions. Most people in human vs human match don't begin a game with the intention of winning on time. This guy on icc was doing just that, he wasn't even trying to win, he saw a way to artificially inflate his rating, by doing something that he would not be able to get away with, had he been playing in person, and with a tournament director involved.
