I am doing a match of 800 games between Fritz6light and Hiarcs7.32

I use 400 different opening.

1.a3 a6
1.a3 a5
1.a3 b6
1.a3 b5

You can guess the other openings.

The result after 48 games including all the 1.a3 opening is 24-24
(The last opening was 1.a4 b5)
I guess that I will not get a significant result after 800 games.

I tried to give both engines optimal conditions.

Fritz6 light use 8 mbytes(more than that is too much for it and it can lose
games on time also with 8 Mbytes but it is rare)

Hiarcs7.32 use 128 Mbytes hash tables(the rule for hiarcs about hash tables is
more hash tables is better)

Games on one pentiumIII450

I guess that you will get significant results if you do the same experiment with
Fritz6 and not fritz6light.
