Well it Hiarcs 8 is going to be an improvement on Hiarcs7.32 I think the ches
world is in for another shock. I can't imagine a program with eve more
positional knowledge.

Yes more than likely Gandalf will be out.. I know it is very strong. I have
attained a rank of 2850 on ICC with it running against the big boys there with
huge hardware, on nothing nore than a PIII 450. In fact just the other day on
FICS, my account using Gandalf playing a Diep machine, came out of book on move
14, and had mate in 4!!!!

Fritz 7 would be interesting, also so would Shredder 5. Rebel Tiger would be
nice, although I would like to see more engines use an interface that can play
over ICS. Not many do with out 2 computers to make it all nice and automated.
That is the reason Rebel Tiger is so popular...
