To study endings via your computer you ought to get Chess Academy, a wonderful
program that's made up of a chess playing program, a huge database and a superb
tutorial on all aspects of the game. You can find out more about Chess Academy
at http://www.chessacademy.de/.

Chess Academy has exactly what you are looking for: in the tutorial you can
find The Encyclopaedia of Endgames covering all the areas: minor piece endings,
pawn endings, rook and queen endings, etc. On top of that you can also find
30,000 studies and test yourself on them. The tutorial is simply incredible
value.
