The Dutch Computer Chess Championship has started today with 3 rounds.
Theo van der Storm is doing a wonderful job: he has a very up to date
Webpage on the tournament at:

http:??( I always forget if it is / or \ )
ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/thstorm

30 minutes after the rounds all results and the pgn's were on the
page!

Altogether 11 rounds are played, rounds 4-6 are tomorrow ( Sunday ).
The field is illustrous. After three rounds no perfect scores any
longer. Leading are:

Arthur, Cilkchess, Nimzo, Shannon with 2.5 each, then
Ant, TheKing, Diep, Kallisto with 2.0 each, then Schach3.0 as a
single on place 9 with 1.5 points.

Sensation was that TheKing lost to Shannon ( King played a strange/bad
combination of Dutch/Benoni opening ).

You may wonder why certain programs participate, but: there is a Dutch
member in Cilkchess ( Aske Plaat ), Chrilliy Donninger ( Nimzo98 ) has
been living in NL for almost a decade, and the same holds for Tom
Kreitmayer from Schach3.0 .
You find much more infos at Theo van der Storm's Webpage. IA
