I seriously doubt it, if Deep blue was running at the same speed of a PIII 500 Mhz 128 SDRAM it would not have scored a single win against Kasparov or any of the top 3 GM's at Standard time control. If Deep Blue program was able to run in a comparable PIII 500 Mhz computer, either Fritz 6 or Chess Tiger 12.0e could easily have defeated Deep Blue. Pichard.
