I have compiled Crafty 17.12 for PPC and need beta testers before I ask
Bob to put it on his FTP machine.
Minor adjustments to the table base code (which I was adding to Screamer
in the first place) and new timing routines.
I seems to run well.
I tried to use Dan's Crafty17 books but they didn't work (endian thing?).
Start.pgn and Large made nice book files however.
Below is the bench results for my PPC G3 running at 266mhz.
