It would appear the SSDF list of Jan 30 was with all games of
Junior 6 and that all games since that list were with 6a.
The rating of each could therefore be calculated.
From posts I have found which follow. Tony Hedlund switched
at game 3 between Junior and Hiarcs to the 6a version.
This also happened on Jan 30.
Bertil said on the 18th he thought the SSDF had the latest patch
a little later Amir posted they did not at that point and pointed
out that the newer engine tested well and showed improvement.

Hi!
I think we have received the latest patch earlier (only played a few games with
the original J6) together with Enrique and some beta-testers.
The patch fix some problems with the interface, stops in the autoplayer and most
important handles the TB´s correctly. I don´t know about the problems with the
interface but it plays excellent and handles the TB´s correctly.
We haven´t received F6 yet, but I think it should come this week, with the
latest version 6.69, same as Enriques.

It's a newer engine, with several improvements of search & eval over the
original release. The changes are not major, but tested well to show an
improvement.
I froze the original J6 code on Nov 13th, so this patch represents about 2
months more work. We originally intended only to fix the known bugs, but we had
some delays in organizing the patch, so once we got around to do it, we decided
we will include the latest engine as well.
SSDF do NOT yet have this 6a engine yet. They have what we originally intended
to put in the patch, which was only the TB bug fix.

The first new program during 2000 is Amir Bans and Shay Bushinskys
Junior 6.0 K6-2 450 MHz. Junior 6.0 immediately took the first place
with 2706 after 403 tournament games! This is 77 points more than
Junior 5.0 has on the same hardware! It's fascinating that it
still is possible to increase the playing strength of chess
programs, measured in the way SSDF does.
Compared to Chess Tiger 12.0 Junior 6.0 has 24 more points. Part
of this difference has been gained due to Chess Tigers tendency
to repeatedly lose against Junior 6.0 in the same opening.
Hopefully the opening books and the learners will be improved
in the future so that these phenomenon disappears.
The order of the programs on K6-2 has changed somewhat on this
list, thanks to the fact that more games have been played. Chess
Tiger 12.0 has lost 14 points, Fritz 5.32 12 points, Nimzo 99
17 points and Hiarcs 7.32 has 12 points less than on the latest
list. Junior 5.0 has increased it's rating with 10 points.
The average rating gain between P200 MMX and K6-2 450 MHz is
now 79 points. This is based on 1537 games with the four programs
which have been tested on both hardwares.
Next official list will be made in March.
