I'm declining it this time.  I'll volunteer for this job if there aren't enough
non-crazy candidates or if I think it's my turn to pitch in.  I've done it
twice, which is once more than anyone else, so I don't feel obligated on that
score, and the list of candidates this time is short but good, so no worries
there.  I don't really care about what positions the candidates have, as long as
they aren't going to turn CCC into either a police state or a playground for
destructive people.

I think that anyone who posts a lot should run.  If you eat, you should also
cook and clean up, and I see moderation as being a chore like this.

Thanks for your other nice comments.  I benefit greatly from the fact that
conversation is slower on the Internet than in real life.
