That might not be true. For you, maybe the Rebel programs would be better, maybe Fritz would be better. Fritz and Tiger are Windows programs, but my opinion is that that doesn't make them better. IMO Rebel has made some great looking Chessprograms that run in Dos. Fritz6 would probably give you the largest selection of engines that you can run in it's interface. But that may be of questionable value to you. Especially if you pick out your favorite engine, and that's the one you end up using all the time. So then, if Rebel Tiger or Century had ended up being your favorite engine, I see no advantage in Fritz6, because they won't run there. What I'm trying to say (not very well) is that you're naming 3 premium programs. I'm not convinced that any are really better than the others. A personal preference thing. If you van say how you intend to use the program, or maybe what the computer that they will run on, then the opinions you'd get on the subject might or might not be more usefull. Pete
