Okay I understand all that, and it is clear to me now what you mean. But do you not think that CCC has transformed into something more than it was originally intended. Now a place to bring all computer chess related material into forum. I read allot of those chessmaster and other threads between two people. And it is sometimes interesting to just watch, read and go along with thread between two people, especially in some chessmaster threads. So if two people are writing about a program and games they are playing a moderator was to send them an email saying do it via email, then we would come on expecting an update from the given two people only to find things stopping dead. I probably skip 90% or higher of threads that are posted, if it does not interest me then I do not look. But I would never tell two people who are right into a debate or sharing of information which they might consider other people might be interested to, to go and do their stuff in private. I am not saying you would do that, but it is just something I think you may have missed.
